Huskers Live Question and Answer

Nebraska Football Games Live

We had the opportunity to run some questions by former Husker great, Dave Rimington. He is living in New York now and is President of the Boomer Esiason Foundation. He won the Outland Trophy in 1981 and 1982, as well as the Lombardi Award in 1982. Dave was inducted into the college Football Hall of Fame back in 1997 and the Huskers have retired his #50 jersey.

The Cincinnati Bengals drafted him in the first round of the 1983 draft and he played with them for 5 seasons. He also played two years with the Philadelphia Eagles before retiring from football at the end of the 1989 season.
